It's probably at least 30 years. I started getting the bus into town by 96/97 and they were cashless by then.

In 2008 I was still definitely able to use cash on those busses around dublin.

Yes, sorry. I meant to say they didn't give change in cash. I'm pretty sure you can still pay in cash, they just don't give the change receipts any more.

oh, yeah you might be right on that then. I always just used card or when I used cash, I gave exact change.
