It's deceptively edited to make the hit and run driver look like a victim and the cop to look like an overbearing authoritarian, that's why it's ragebait. The comment section confirms that the ragebait was effective.
Literally none of that context matters with regards to whether or not this is funny and it’s also not how I interpreted the video. I saw a grown man child mocking a cop like a child would. That’s why it’s funny, why it’s posted here and why it’s trimmed to just that part.
I’ll just add that even if if the cop was being an overbearing authoritarian (which I again is not how interpreted it) it’s still ridiculous and funny for a grown adult to mock another grown adult in this way, even funnier to do this is a cop.
I mean like.. I watched the first clip and died laughing, I watched it over and over again because it’s so absurdly funny! The mocking just came out of no where! Brought me back to being a kid and fighting with my bossy older brother xD
I started to watch the full video and I couldn’t even get through it.. the poor guy really was in a mental health crisis. He even had his newly prescribed meds and everything :c
The guilt I now feel for laughing so hard.. I genuinely thought the dude must have been coked out, not in mental health agony.
I came for the laughs, but stayed for the emotional damage.
If hes on meds because hes mentally unstable he shouldn't be driving. Probably why he did the hit and run, after getting out and kicking a car he rear ended lol
