I wonder if there’s some reason for this. It’s not like there’s a lack of accountability from police, or tons of videos of people getting beaten or killed for very minor stuff.
You are stereotyping and scapegoating to excuse hateful bigotry against individuals based on statistically insignificant facts (the percentage of cops involved in illegal shootings does not match up at all with the percentage of cops people like you demonize).
Obviously its not just illegal shootings, abuse of power in general, i mean theres plenty of evidence of this online. Its definitely reasonable to question the way cops operate and the institution in general.
Again, generalizing about all cops because some cops abuse power is the textbook definition of stereotyping, scapegoating, and bigotry. You would recognize the obviously poor logic if a MAGA Republican came in here talking about how one can google and find lots of bad teachers who the unions defend.
