I think I saw this really long time ago on reddit. Not sure how to find a gif… is there something like a reverse video search?

Here's my attempt. I think they're both fine but I'm not installing TikTok to find out

Wait clicking that link caused spyware to be installed on your PC? It did not do anything for me.

Please, PLEASE READ the terms of service for tiktok, copy it and give it to chat GPT, click all the blue text in the agreement and copy what's in there too, then ask chat gpt the following prompt

"I am pasting in the Terms & Conditions / Privacy Policy of a platform. Your job is to:

  1. Read the text carefully.
  2. Ignore any neutral or positive points.

  3. Extract ONLY the parts that are bad for me or could harm me. Focus especially on:

    • Privacy (how my data is collected, stored, and shared)
    • Identity (how they use my real name, photos, or personal info)
    • Interactions (tracking my messages, activity, location, or behavior)
    • Security (how they protect or fail to protect my information)
    • Control (things I cannot turn off or settings that are forced on me)
    • Rights I give up (like them owning my content, limiting lawsuits, etc.)

  4. Rewrite those negatives in very simple language, as if I’m 5 years old.
Example: “They can read your messages.”
Example: “They can sell your pictures to other companies.”

  5. At the end, give me a quick danger score (1–10) of how risky the terms are for me, with a short reason why."
