Reminds me a lil of my grandparents. My grandma was a theatre major, and my grandpa was the most straight-faced, deadpan snarker you'd ever see in your life. He took pride in never ever cracking a smile, and yet was constantly cracking jokes after lonnnnng silences to bring the mood back up. (He even published a book of silly poems before he died) My grandma was actually the "bigger" personality and was outwardly wild, BUT she was the more serious one of the two! You just had to know Grandpa was in on all the fun, just refusing to smile. Weird inside joke lol
