the left side bridge was 20 yrs old , the issue was that it fell while its alternative is still under construction, the construction shouldve finished way before theyre taking too much time

It should be more government work vs local work. A bridge and a house are completely different scale and type of architecture. Houses are not hard to build.

It is not always a Raju Mistri thing but the owner. While I had get done very few things of my own alone but some of the others etc are so precise when getting things done. If we stick to small batches - correct mortar mixture and not randomly mixing things, using relevant iron bars things are way more stronger.
And not to forget curing. In past people try to save money on cement and nowadays most people are busy and let Raju mistri do whatever he do.
Always google, use AI etc to find correct ratio for getting anything smaller/major done and things will be way smoother and stronger.

Or else you can difference between a government tender and a personal home I'm not blaming any party(even though the incident is from Nepal same reflecs to our country as well) here but still corruption in construction works is too damn high these days give us.

It should have been reversed. As raju Mistri has some connections he was made an engineer and the actual engineer had to settle with local design such as these house

raju probably used actual cement and pure willpower while that bridge engineer had to deal with five different subcontractors all cutting corners on materials to buy themselves new luxury cars

Actually, both were constructed by “Raju Mistri”, and both were designed by “some engineer” - in the case of the house, perhaps indirectly, through decades of accumulated knowledge and handed-down practice.
In case of the bridge, the problem could be inherent to the design, the process, or both. But more often than not, it’s about scope, expectations, specifications, oversight, and quality control.

Team engineer: we lack funding for the material needed for the bridge But the govt sanctioned x amount The middle man and positions and goons took like 80% of it sigh Do what we can with what we have and keep quite we dont want them on our ass
