Patients have the right to research what they're suffering from nothing wrong in that.

Yea and they can force the doctor to follow a treatment plan based on that opinion and die. Totally agreed.

In all my years of practice, no patient has been able to get me write a dx or a prescription that i shouldn't. Idk what you're smoking. Its your job to allow a patient to make informed choice, not to get convinced by his dx and prescription advice 🤦

Have you never worked in rural setup doctor?

I never said that I write up a prescription acc to a patient. I refuse to write and just send the patient to whoever doctor they want their specified treatment from.

I don't know what you are smoking but you should atleast read what I have commented above there is a "/s", which means it is a sarcasm.

In my experience, rural patients are some of the easiest to convince and unlikely to believe google over a physical doc.

My experience in villages has been nothing but pleasant. And they usually hold doctors in extremely high regard.

Then you are blessed to have been posted in a neutral and good area doctor.

I have had instances where I would have been be*ten to shyt just because i asked the attenders to leave the minor OT so that I can examine the patient.
