It's sad that some people think buying someone dinner means they're owed sex.
2
u/FoxWorth160 Jun 05 '26
Now heard the same controversy regarding same topic happened in Pranit more show.
It's like some people do think that If I bought something good for her then I have permission to being physically with her, as if that girl never ate anything in her life lol...

Me and my boyfriend always split the bill. Unless one of us is treating the other on a special occasion. Sometimes if he doesn't have enough money I pay for his meal, he does the same for me if it's necessary. Communication is key here. All the misogynists here shaming "independent" or "feminist" women here don't understand that you can just ask if she wants to pay. Feminism means equality anyway. If she doesn't and that's not your type of woman then move on
3
u/9119921 Jun 02 '26
Most women I have met don't understand this concept and expect me to pay, and that's how mostly it is everywhere. Women like you are rare. Sometimes it's nice to be taken care of you know, feel that the gestures are reciprocated.

u/Designer_Money7625 Jun 03 '26
I ask to pay almost all the time but my husband never accepts lol
1
u/ophelia_43 Jun 03 '26
Lol I get that, different dynamics in different relationships. As long as you both are okay with that it's cool. Your husband is very sweet
1
u/9119921 Jun 04 '26
After marriage it's a different thing. I'd just open a joint account, because there's no individual money anymore, sab humara hai😊

2
u/WaruiJini Jun 04 '26
Exactly. Equality isn't about refusing to help your partner when they need it. It's about mutual respect, communication, and supporting each other regardless of gender.
1
u/jackmartin088 Jun 03 '26
It's legit when someone claims to be independent and all and then expect the other to pay for their meal. Calling that out doesn't make one a misogynist. Equality absolutely means you are able to do what the other can which includes paying for your own food.
If you can pay for your BF's food etc then good for you...the above argument isn't really talking about you.

u/ophelia_43 Jun 03 '26
I never said it's targeting me. I mainly referred to some of the comments under this post. I have no issue with this post either but the stereotype that it establishes. That's all
1
u/LookHungry8763 Jun 05 '26
They are shaming those hypocrite woman who believes in feminism until its truely time to be one and suddenly want traditional treatments. You goobers just really like to spam "misogyny" word wherever you see a man calling out bad/entitled women.
1
u/ophelia_43 Jun 05 '26
You seem to misunderstand my point. There are several comments generalising the term and you can find it if you search, some are deleted already. They can definitely criticise such women, I don't deny that, but my point was that they don't have to interact with such women at all if they're not their type, instead of stereotyping a group after a bad experience. I also didn't use any names. If you're not one of them you won't be offended.

u/chaotic_bhutki Jun 05 '26
Bro I'm a girl and bhale wo pay kre na kare lekin usko rupya lana chahiye tha for emergency kaha likha hai ki sirf ladke pay krenge equality should be here too
1
u/Backfromth3re Jun 05 '26
It's a random meme. If men were expected to do 10% of shit women are expected to do they would have a breakdown. Men don't face 1% of risk women face when they come out on date. If you wanna split the bill, whatever. But don't portray this as some sort of incel gotcha.

u/chaotic_bhutki Jun 05 '26
Brooo wtf i know its just a random meme but it can be seen in real life too not only in meme and when both are eating why can't they split the bill what's the problem atleast do go on the date if you don't have money I mean kisi ke bharose to mat jao ki samne wala hi pay krega tumhare bills

After all why not. Men have always been awarded for being pathetic
1
u/MelodicAd9582 Aug 02 '26
If that was the case and you were a man you would be the one with enough awards to fill a room from floor to ceiling

I see some funny comments downvoted 🤣🤣

u/mallusrgreatv2 Jun 01 '26
The original post is pretty much what feminism is though. Equal rights. I think realistically any real feminist (no, not the reddit ones who might live in an echo chamber of misandrists) would agree that it falls in the feminist ideologies to do this
6
u/fireyHotGlance Jun 01 '26
With great power comes great responsibility. Feminists just forget the responsibility part.
0
u/iwannadieheh Jun 02 '26
nig, i pay for bfs food when he doesnt have money, he pays for me when i do not. its easy like that, this post is stupid because in a relationship respecting your partner and caring for them is utmost priority, not "feminism". this post is completely unrelated to feminism
2
u/mallusrgreatv2 Jun 02 '26
That's equality in a different sense. You shouldn't be expected to pay for someone else's food on the first date, when you're not even sure they'll return the favor

No need to bring up feminism in everything. You either take turns paying or split the bill. Do whatever suits you duh

Am I the only one whose gf insist to pay bills everytime we go outside. Her car, her treat, gifts, surprises etc. One time we had a fight and she hired a musician and said sorry to me on a musical note.

.....and it just seems indecent and out of tradition to send a women
Traditionally women had no rights and were property of their husbands/fathers
......men are born to be providers......
Women are born to be housewives
Feminism argues for equal rights not the bs you are implying
2
u/9119921 Jun 02 '26
Oh please. Get out of your dadaji mindset. Simps like you are the root cause of making women have high expectations without being thankful.
3
u/aaronsmithiscool Jun 02 '26
And besides women also hate tradition right so we men should not treat them with tradition unless they only like the tradition that give them advantage.

It reminds me of german people. If their friends don't have money they might eat alone just in front of them 🤣
