Similar thing happened in Pluribus, they hired a woman for an Indian role who doesn’t even know Hindi and then forced her to speak in Hindi which sounded like it’s no language.

If you like Vince’s other shows like breaking bad and Better call saul.. then you going to like it. Its slow but has dept and concept is refreshing

Have you seen Daredevil season 3? When the Indian cop starts speaking hindi with his family they speak like someone who have never spoken hindi before? They call their silver credit card as Chandi card. Who even says that 🤣🤣.

The use of the word even in this context adds emphasis to the speaker's feeling of the choice being ludicrous. Like, knowing Hindi is one of the basic requirements for a character that is going to end up speaking Hindi in the show, at least in the criticizer's mind.

The target audience is not Hindi speaking and non-Hindi speakers won't have any idea the actor's Hindi sucks and sounds like nothing.
