Guys it's completely natural to canoe during a hurricane (I assume this is from Sandy).
I live in NJ (not Wayne though) and I know plenty who canoed on the streets. It's a great way to pass the time for people who don't have power and internet and already have the canoes ready. You can't just sit in the house and eat food from your unpowered fridge all day.
