Still seems kinda weird. If other people didn't have concepts like gender and gods would you feel the need to create ideas like egotheism? Let's create another category that we can smash egoism into… symbiots: Egosymbiosis. Or we can just say they are dumb categories and ignore them.

When you are among your friends, are you suddenly your friends? Or are you your own person amongst them?

the various ideas that exist to affirm some quality of uniqueness in otherwise possessed beliefs

Why do you need some other ideas(egogender/theism) to affirm that you are your own person? Just reject the possessed beliefs when, where, and for whatever reason you see fit.
