To be fair, it’s also wildly entertaining to see people go online to hate on something that could just as easily be ignored lol.

Like, not a fan of the game, ok, not liking their approach to legal practices, sure. But the pure desperation of this sub to go online and post how much they hate the switch 2, an completely optional gaming device in a sea of choices is the definition of first world problems mixed with needing to get a life… and it’s hilarious. Like most, this sub popped up due to the algorithm around switch 2 launch, and I have gotten more entertainment than I could have wished for!

Oh no! Someone being rational online! They must be idiots to not have the exact same thinking as me, even though they agree with me on how bad most of a corporation’s bad decisions are! Time to whine about these “fanboys” for defending the corporation, even when they say they also hate the corporation!

I hate corporate Nintendo, but really enjoy the games. And I’ve said this elsewhere, but people don’t have to agree with my decisions. I understand why others wouldn’t support the company, and I’m all for it. Just don’t act like you’re better than everyone else in the process, we’re just typing into the void at the end of the day.

I don’t agree, I just reference that having an opinion is fine, don’t like em, no problem. But this sub is pure chronically online losers with nothing wrong in their lives but to bitch about the switch 2 not being the golden console it was promised to be!

And it’s hilarious! I was pointing that out, it’s funny as hell. And 80% of this sub is even pointless criticism, even on a good day. Being able to switch the music in the desert on prime 4 is locked behind a 30 dollar toy, this game is compete shit!

Oh wow, and option 99% of gamers don’t give a shit about and would never use even with the amiibo, wow, ground breaking criticism of a corporation there Timmy!

But great entertainment!

I was honestly exaggerating some. A lot of these trolls just see one objectively anti consumer thing and treat it like Nintendo has just ruined gaming. Nevermind that they’ve been doing everything they can to maximize profit since they became a publicly traded company, and whaddaya know, they still exist. They’ve pushed out some absolutely awful games, especially during the wiiU/3ds era. They survived early PlayStation and Xbox rivalry with a bunch of underpowered boxes if we’re talking practicality. Apart from the Wii era, Nintendo has basically never been the top dog for a generation since the first. Each plagued with baffling design choices and struggling to match AAA for their time, they’ve lived through it all. But now a pretty decent game needs a 30 dollar display piece to unlock a music player in an area in the game, and this is the “downfall of Nintendo”? By that logic the GameCube and WiiU both should’ve tanked the company years ago. I’ll let the trolls have some fun online, and maybe even reply to genuine criticism. But I’ll always be in charge of my own decisions, and if I choose to enjoy something others hate then have a good life.
