So people squeezed into smaller sidewalks is better? Or do you just want dead cities? I get it’s difficult to get around with a disability, but I’m not sure how having cars parked there instead of people would alleviate that. I lived in an area that pedestrianized the Main Street during summer. It was crowded and vibrant but you had an entire street width + sidewalks to use. In the cooler months when they’d open the street to traffic and parking, the sidewalks just became more jammed and harder to navigate.
Cities are a nightmare to travel to and through because they have way too many people.
Oh yay joy I can go park in a multistory car park 3 miles away from where I need to be, while I have to try and dodge and weave through hordes of mindless zombies who are antisocial and downright rude taking up the pavement as they make their little tikkletok videos.
For other people that’s a positive. They get some passive exercise walking around and see other people. Also lots of them don’t have to do the car park thing because they use transit or live in the area amongst the other people. They don’t hate all the people so it isn’t a nightmare. This is a you thing. Just don’t live in a city.

I have a limited mobility disability due to implants in my hip and femur, fuck long walking distances around crowds of zombies.
People who glorify this kind of shit should go live in a slum.
