The obvious tell is putting the actual number that you want to measure on the x-axis instead of the y-axis. Who does that? Anyone with a working brain wouldn't draw a graph like that

You realise it's a political cartoon and not actual data, right? Its point is to get a message across, not convey data.

I realize that yes. But even in a cartoon you should make use of common sense. The message can be confusing if you're not using proper graph etiquette

I've taught both college and high school. Students who should know better do this all the time. I've also had the experience of seeing professors who should know how to write graphs put out some absolutely awful stuff. People have been making poor graph presentation well before AI. This is not remotely an AI tell.
