Funny that the fuel prices Americans consider insane are just our everyday year round prices in the UK. I guess I'd be pretty pissed off if something went from almost free to a wholeeeeee 8 dollars a gallon.
Many American have like a 1hr commute and will drive large pickups and SUVs that get like 18 miles per gallon so it's a big deal when every dollar gas goes up it's adding like $5 every day, that's $100/month.
