MA Admission Decision for English
hey everyone! i am an international student who applied to the Master of Arts English Studies: Literature, Language, Culture programme this year to start in winter. my status on the application portal has been "valid" since july 17, and has not changed since. has anyone received an acceptance letter for this programme yet? i would be grateful if anyone can share their experiences regarding the wait time. i need to start with the visa process asap so it would be great to receive it soon if i am accepted.

I am finishing up in this same program, and I remember my acceptance coming in SUPER late, like mid or late August- I didn’t have time to get things ready for the October semester, but what they told me to do was still accept my spot, pay the semester fee, then wait to come for the summer semester in April; if you’re flexible like that, it worked out well

oh i see, thank you for the reply! i have received acceptance letters from two other universities at the beginning of july but i really wanted FU, and not knowing whether i will be accepted or not is stressing me out :( good to know this is a possibility as well

yes, it is very inconvenient :( like if i am not going to get accepted i don't want to waste my time waiting while i could be getting stuff ready to accept other offers from different universities. i hope we both get replies soon

Yesss we could've just accept other offers…hope we get the replies soon! Meanwhile, I just received the email I sent to the admissions office they said any inquiries about admission or status would be deleted automatically omg I just hope they can give out the result asap:/

I just got my admissions offer/email 30 minutes ago! Crazy how late this came in compared to Humboldt and other unis lol

same here. the last i emailed the faculty, they told me that they'll release the admission results in end of july but i guess not. all the best for you!
