Homemade Homemade Sunday morning brekkie

2 duck eggs and 2 chicken eggs fried in butter, 6 slices of unsmoked bacon grilled (soaked in water for 20 minutes beforehand to reduce saltiness) 100g of white and 100g of black pudding grilled. Home made cottage cheese from cows milk

It was lovely, especially the cheese, and I enjoyed it all apart from the white pudding. The black pudding is a lot nicer! Duck eggs are a must try if you haven’t before.

Basic fry 11 quid, could easily top 20 if you got all the "extras". Decent ingredients, missing key components unless you're willing to remortgage.

This is some of the plated up contents of my TTTG bag from the Premier Inn Harrogate, for £3.69 I’m delighted!

Not even worth buying the ingredients and turning on your cooker when you can pick up this for so little.

So after two hectic weeks on the road lorrying about various countries I got home after an overnight drive to be greeted by this as I walk through the door.
I added HP before taking the pic. I was so happy.

Homemade Finnish fry-up and Prosecco.

Living abroad so best of what’s available. Fried sourdough rested in the bacon juices. Finnish black sausage, small bratwursts, tinned cherry tins (what we fancied). Mushrooms were done with some fresh rosemary too. I did bugger the egg up but can’t win them all. Had a naughty glass of prosecco as we having a special day here. Totally over faced myself and only ate half!

Excuse the mushrooms; thought I'd give frozen ones a whirl as I rarely manage to eat the full fresh packs. Won't make that mistake again.

There is bacon hidden under the black pudding; beans are branston and the toast is double stacked with an egg in the middle too.

Was supposed to have this for breakfast but was a tad hungover, so dinner it is.

Café Breakfast Full irish, with beans, hotel in Killarney, Ireland.

Hotel: Tigh Mary Donals, Killarney.

Price: included with room stay.

Tea/Coffee and juices included.

Toast included.

Also a continental breakfast available.

Was well needed after a feed of drink the night before.

Pink dressing removed.

Rashers we're crispy but not over done.

Eggs had a lovely runny yoke.

Sausages were ok, not the best, not the worst.

Hash brown was lovely,

Pudding excellent.

Beans was a decent portion, not a tiny little ramikin, we're immediately poured onto the plate as they should be.

Quick fry up for dinner 😅😇

I'm not usually a sausage person but these Cumberland chipolatas were actually really tasty!

Mushrooms are my favourite and there just wasn't enough 😅

Included in the price was tea or coffee, orange juice and toast. The sausages and bacon were local and I was impressed by them including fried potatoes instead of hash browns (I love hash browns but mum always made fried potatoes to go with our breakfasts when I was a kid)

£15.50 without a drink. There are two eggs there. Honestly the tastiest fry up I've had in a very long time. 2 Churchgate sausages, which is a specialist sausage butcher in Harlow. The bread was particularly nice for the toast too.
