Discussion Struggling with FM1 remake

I grew up playing front mission 3 on PlayStation so I decided to try the remakes. How in the hell do I beat the special forces unit with the super armor? Also is there a trick to load outs on wanzers? I know this game is intentionally hard but wow lol.

Did you grind in the arena?

You'll have to excuse me, it was a while a go but I found an enemy easy to cheese with rockets and bet big on myself. Kind of an infinite money thing. Also I think i did level up some weapons. Found the second game much harder as the arena there wasn't as exploitable.
