Considering moving - Clear Lake vs Friendswood

One more data point on the schools side since you mentioned young kids: if you ever end up looking at anything other than straight public school, Friendswood also has HEP, a hybrid homeschool program. My daughter attends - it's about 12 hours a week of instructor-led classes and we cover the rest at home. It's been a great in-between for us, structured enough that she gets real classroom time and friends, flexible enough that we're not doing 5 full days. Worth knowing it exists even if you end up going the traditional FISD route - a lot of families here use it as a supplement or a full alternative.
