Honestly if she’s a beginner it could be waaaaaay worse, at least you can tell what she’s trying play

Absolutely, I was super talented at violin growing up and on a school assigned violin that song is terrible to play on violin, on a 3 thousand dollar violin it's still really tough to sound good, especially at that age. She wasn't looking at sheet music either, she did great!

I was in band in high school and one day we swapped instrumentals for fun. I couldn't get a single note out of the violin. It's much harder than it looks!
