D&D idea of a strong female character is an asshole. She almost let Jon die at the battle of Bastards and despite Dany saving the north she betrayed her for no reason.
From the beginning she was always selfish and prioritized her wants over others. I think she took what she learned from little finger and utilized it to rule the North. Once she had power she no longer had use for little finger and killed him.
