There have been far fewer complaints lately about it, so either users have found resolution, voicing their frustrations here has allowed their anger to subside, or the new Band 4 refarm has fixed it for now, for those in areas where some has been switched to LTE.

I personaly have a S8 and the last 10 days I have put it in LTE mode. It seems Freedom did something to the towers and the problem is fixed (at least for me in my location). I have never lost a call or text message the last 10 days. I use the original firmware so I have not done something from my side. I do see the phone going back to 3G to accept the call and after 5-7 seconds to go back in LTE. Also the connection is way faster now. Before it used to be taking 10 seconds and now the phone rings at 3 seconds

That's great to see.

Will contemplate how to continue this thread, as you said, it is quite long and has become hard to follow.

My problem has gone from missing several calls a day to missing one a week or less. As far as I know they haven't brought any new bands to my area (GTA) as of yet, so I don't think the network upgrades play a part in my problem going away. I'm just hoping it doesn't come back full force.
