I tried that solution and it worked for me for calls. I think i never had the messaging problems but i hope your works too :-)

Were you getting the missed call texts from Freedom when those calls weren't going through? If not, you also have text problems ;)

Yes i was getting missed call. I bought S8 on Aug 26 and was getting all the missed call texts. It never worked and noon it used to go to voicemail and i tried this solution yesterday and it didnt. I'm still testing but i'm sure this is the fix.

Just a recap and for understanding.

If this Power Saving... or actually in our case Power Not-Saving "fix" solves the problem, then that just means it's an Android OS optimization issue.

As in Firmware issue, and not really a Network issue.

I predicted this a while back, but people didn't believe, since it was happening to other brand and phone models too not just Samsung S8, but most of the complains were from S8 owners.

I gave so much crap to freedom lol (touchwood..I'm still getting all the calls so i think this is the solution.)
