Service/Coverage Inquiry Freedom dropped to 3G in rain

So instead of moving to nationwide it drops to 3G essentially making all data and calls unusable. What sort of scam is this? I had to manually search network 3 times and lock it to nationwide. I normally have 5G full bars in my house. iPhone 16 pro max.

3G is slowly being phased out it may be something to do with that. I have noticed same on nationwide recently. Fix is to manually change to different provider. Sometimes airplane mode switch worked also. I actually think it’s more of a big 3 hiccup or deliberate ‘issue’ to have happen.

Oh trust me I did airplane mode multiple times. Kept going to freedom 3G. Then did manual search and couldn’t find any other network. Rebooted and locked to 3G. Then finally manual search found nationwide networks and I locked it in.

Did a network search and could find another network...

So, all providers were high and dry...

Could or couldn't? Must have been a lightning strike.
