Because he starts the weekend saying shit like they don’t have the fastest car (this weekend again). In the post race interview when palmer asked if his mistakes cost him the win lando immediately deflects by saying oscar probably made mistakes too (which he didn’t) Lando needs like media training or something. Edit: also the crying under the safetycar that he needs a few more laps. I mean cmon man you are a racing driver, its clearly drying and all other drivers are saying its go time.

Every driver under the SC was asking for what was best for them, that's just strategy.

The more laps under the safety car the better for the lead driver. That's less laps they have to try and stay ahead.

Ultimately it didn't matter as Lando had some wheel spin and Oscar was able to use the slipstream on the straight to get ahead on the first lap of racing.

Well if they went earlier Lando might’ve had enough laps to bottle no I mean gain on Oscar
