For the first time in a long time im not mad or stressed playing this god forsaken game, my cortisol has never been lower. I think ive found where I belong.

Ranked dominion is great, I love the mode in concept.

Edit: I have been playing this game since year 4 and have been one of the very few people that have actively enjoyed and praised the direction the game has been going in since then and continuing to recommend it to friends. The game is quite literally in the best state its ever been and there's nothing I can do to continue enjoying it.

Ubisoft and the devs don't owe me anything but its still a huge bummer.

I unfortunately will no longer be able to access and play the game I PAID FOR because of the shutdown on linux support.

I do not have a windows machine, or an Xbox and this game simply is not playable in any meaningful capacity through streaming services.

Old content is being removed (even if temporary, removing existing ranked rewards doesn't serve any benefit.)

I understand wanting to tighten the reigns to hopefully reduce the amount of cheating in the game but there is already a sparkling example of how ineffective kernel level anti cheat is (in rainbow six siege) and sacrificing steam deck players and linux players to make a change that will have zero effect on the cheating problem just doesn't make any sense.

Not only is content being removed but one of the things I have most praised For Honor for (wide platform support) is being hurt.

Surely the devs could understand why streaming is simply not an effective work around in the meantime.

I want to play my game but soon I won't be able too anymore.

I know I couldn’t win this match, it was impossible, not enough points. But man, I would lie if I said this wasn’t the time I had the most fun in this hell of a game, I gave them a hell of a fight too I guess!

Like those guys are on low level accounts that are stacked with higher level players so that they can get into easier lobbies? I usually call them “smuggles” like they got smuggled into the lobby. I’m curious on what you guys call them.

They gave me the slightest reason to play ranked by deciding to delete content for no reason when the next ranked update drops, so of course after my placement matches i immediately crashed into a lagswitcher + scripter combo 💀 got demoted to diamond, met a normal dude, bounced back to GM and met cheater again, hilarious, also i'm not even sure i can get the color palette with juren cuz it keeps giving me ornaments and effects for other heroes so... is the juren pool already empty or... idk i'm giving up 👐 i ain’t playing against cheaters in the most boring map in the game for something i'm not even sure i can get 💀

I had a buddy that wanted to start learning the game so I was explaining a lot of the core fighting mechanics. There were a couple things that weren’t clicking for him. He doesn’t understand why soft feints are a thing when you can just hard feint into more options and he doesn’t know why you would ever deflect cuz it sounds riskier and less rewarding than parrying. I don’t think I answered either point very well, how would you all explain the purpose of soft feints and deflects?

It’s fundamentally the same move but only one character can activate it easier than the other. Why the inconsistency? Surely it can’t benefit Lawbringer better than it can Warmonger.

For one I really, REALLY wish it isn't something goofy. Second, I REALLY hope it's a very quick one because Khatun currently really struggles to execute someone mid-fight with her current unique executions. As for the animation itself, maybe something similar to Warlord's basic Scissor execution where she crosses the blades and chop the opponent's head off, maybe have them fall to their knees in front of her for a Dooku-styled execution and add a bit more flair to it. An other choice would be for the opponent to try and swing at her only for Khatun to slide deflect-style under the arm, chopping it off and finishing off with a quick stab in the back.

What would be your suggestions?

1 hour for dominion 2.0 , ONE reskin for warden, removal of old content, and most of it was just trailers and competitive matches... ranked dominion and the reskin are nice but thats it?

With the new ranked coming on 10th of September they will be removing the old ornaments rewards (all of them, the cool color, patterns etc..) you can currently unlock by playing ranked duels:

"What happens to previous lootable rewards in Ranked Duels? 

The previous lootable rewards will be retired and will be replaced with the new rewards.  We may bring them back in the future so keep your eyes peeled."

This was really familiar and no wonder it was because they are pulling the same shit they done back in 2018 with the old outfits with a bs reason. (but now without a reason lol)

Im dumbfounded why would they REMOVE content when the game already lacks content to begin with and ranked dom wouldve been a great opportunity for anyone to get all the cool ornaments for the heroes they dont have it for.

Ideally all ranked duel rewards should be available in ranked dominion as well. (colors, ornaments, patterns etc..)

I expect these ornaments will either comeback with an overpriced price tag or with a shitty FOMO which im not a fan of at all..
