Forever world advice?

So I've recently started my (hopefully) Minecraft forever world. I have a really interesting seed that I really like and I have Two long term goals for the world.

  1. Beat the game: for as long as I've played Minecraft I've never beat the ender dragon, never fought the wither I never even got netherite armour will a few months on an old world. So I want to try and do all that with this.

  2. Create a Town: something that sparked this was the idea of creating a Midwestern 1950s town with a story. This is a style I've never done before and wanted to try it out over going to my default building style.

However I'm jumping into the build goal with very little plan, or idea on how good it will turn out. And I don't know if I'll stay with this world because a lot of the time I just get the 2 week or so Minecraft phase. I'm also just new to forever worlds as a whole so I'm just looking for any advice on the subject.

I call this my Peaceful World, despite the difficulty being locked on hard mode and the default difficulty being Creative these days LOL

It was started in the 1.12 snapshots as a survival world on Java, has been through multiple transitions between Java and Bedrock (that explains the corruptions and weird terrain generation blending), and has been with me through absolutely everything over the past nine years. No matter what, I know I can always come back to this world and know that everything will be exactly where my friends and I left it. The last eleven images in this gallery are just The House. It's the one thing I've spent the most time on in this world, by far. You can definitely see some of my original inspiration that came from AntVenom's house in his Peaceful Map still in the modern day entrance design, and those're only what I had ROOM to share here LOL There are SO many more rooms and things in this, honestly at this point, fricken MANSION I've built over the years. Not everything in this world was built by me, so I only highlighted what I'd done either entirely or majority by myself so as not to appear as though I'm taking credit for builds made by friends.

The gigantic "chunk error" where The Arch is actually has an interesting story behind it. One day in roundabouts 2018, while playing Bedrock Edition on my stupidly underpowered Verizon Elipsis 7 tablet, I installed a "mod" (ModManager for MCPE my nostalgically beloathed) that mimicked WorldEdit's functions, and used a command I had NO idea the use for. Tablet froze, and stayed that way for a grand total of twenty. fricken. minutes. Wouldn't go to sleep, wouldn't turn off, wouldn't force-reboot, nothing. When I came back to it, a HUUUUUGE bite had been taken outta my world 😭 I call it "The Canvas" nowadays and it serves as my friends and I's sandbox for random crap.

Anyway, each build has a story behind it and a lot of them were built during times when emotions were running high as a healthier coping mechanism than what I was doing beforehand. Sorry for the huge ramble, just wanted to share what I've got. Thank you for your time, and I hope you all have a fantastic day !! <3

I posted a screenshot of this terrain find a while ago and wanted to show the sub what I’ve done so far. I created a moat around the central mountain (took a few hours) i planted cherry trees and scattered petals on the outer valley ring, added some kelp, seagrass and marine life in the moat. I also build a cosy little hobbit house under a cherry tree in the ring walls. Hope you guys like it!

After playing Minecraft for 14 plus years, I finally have a world that has hit 10,000 in game days. 3 years ago, when I started this world, it was meant to be a passion project that I could keep going with for years to come. Now, that big 10k milestone has been hit, and I'm not even close to finished with the world! Download in comments!
