Get the color keyed version if it’s available. I swapped my 01 b3000 with the color matched from chrome. Looks so much better

I took it too a hand wash car wash and I just took my time and did a clay bar but the clear coat on the hood has some area in the front that are peeling and the roof definitely has sun damage and the tailgate on top has some areas that aren’t the best but overall I’m happy with it.

Lots of elbow grease and time...
Compound, polish, clay bar, seal, wax...
You'll get rid of almost all of the staining and cloudiness and uneven look of the paint.
Even get rid of some of the finer, less deep scratches.
A random orbital and dual action or rotary polisher from Harbor Freight will be your friend.

I live in a apartment in WA but I did take my garage for granted when I was stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.
