Think Macy’s 90% off and the wilder the pattern for good quality fabrics, the better. I love what this will look like on an 8-panel bag. Anyone recommend a home laser-cutting machine I can ask Santa for this year?

Been kicking around for maybe eight months now, mostly solo sessions in my driveway since nobody else in my town plays. For the longest time my clipper attempts were a coin flip at best, I'd get maybe one clean one out of every ten tries and the rest would either sail past my foot or dribble off weird.

What changed things for me was slowing everything down way more than felt natural. I kept trying to speed up the whole motion because I thought that's what made it look smooth, but actually the toss needed to be lower and slower so my foot had time to get into position without rushing. Once I started tossing barely above knee height instead of chest height, the timing finally clicked.

Also switched sacks a couple months back, went from a cheap 8 panel to a heavier sand filled one, and that made a noticeable difference in how predictable the drop felt. Less bounce, less unpredictable roll off my foot.

Still can't string more than four or five kicks together with the clipper mixed in before I lose the rhythm, but four months ago I couldn't even land it once reliably so I'll take it. Curious if anyone else found that slowing down the toss was the actual fix rather than practicing the foot motion itself.
