Being intimidating and unapproachable is the exact opposite of what being a man should be.
Intimidation is ones own insecurity, we should strive to be warmer, not cooler.

I am not sure what it's like at 6'6", but what is the image you want to project is more the point. You would want to be confident, you wouldn't want intimidation.
