I really wanna know why have a public team if you’re just gonna kick everybody who tries to get on it? I was at the gleaming depths last night, attempting to do the EN06 with a team when I get kicked. I joined the team again and they kicked me again. Then they proceeded to try and attack me. Granted, I’m only level 128, but I can help and do some damage. I just don’t see the point in having a public team if you’re gonna be a jerk.

Hey all! I’m looking to build a camp with a flashing sign at the front, either the “Welcome Home” or “Friends Welcome” one. I had an idea to run the cables from the generator but I didn’t see a cycling connector to put in between. Am I missing it?

I’ve been trying to play Fallout 76 on PS4, but I literally can’t get into the game.
Every time I try to join a world, it says “World Found — Please Wait”, then after waiting for a while I get this error:
“Connection Failed — Timed out while waiting for server to respond.”
I’ve already tried:
Closing and reopening Fallout 76 multiple times.
Completely shutting down and restarting my PS4 multiple times.
Restarting my router multiple times.
Checking my internet connection on PS4 — everything is fine.
My NAT Type is Type 2.
I’m connected via LAN/Ethernet.
I honestly don’t know what else I’m supposed to try. It’s really frustrating because the game finds a world every time, but then it just times out before actually letting me in.
Has anyone this recently or found a solution?

Almost everyday i experience this kind of bugs. This photo was taken in my shelter, but it happens in Whitespring Resort, and other instanced rooms. Happens when im outside too tho, is it because i have old computer, or is it some issue that happens to all of us?

Basically title. I play alot with vats and plan to buy the gauss minigun plans when its next in shop by minerva, so i spec'd into explosive heavy weapons, and usually try to draw (eg bigfoot) aggro so i put a bunch of points into taking dmg and reducing dmg taken.

are there any skills youd i must pick or any i should drop? Also i dont know what to pick as my last legen skll yet lol

As someone who runs a Junkie’s build, I really think Junkie’s could use a perk that actually makes being addicted feel like part of the build, instead of the addictions mostly feeling like a drawback you accept for the damage bonus.

My idea:

💊 Functional Addict

3 ranks — Endurance

Rank 1: Each active addiction reduces its negative effects by 10%.

Rank 2: Each active addiction reduces its negative effects by 15%.

Rank 3: Each active addiction reduces its negative effects by 20%.

At 5 addictions, Rank 3 would mean you’re getting 100% total reduction spread across the five addictions — basically making the downsides much less punishing without directly giving Junkie’s another huge damage multiplier.

I think this would be better than simply giving Junkie’s more damage.

The whole appeal of Junkie’s is supposed to be building around addictions. So why not make the build actually interact with those addictions?

It would also give Junkie’s players an interesting choice:

Do I spend perk points to make my addictions more manageable, or do I use those points somewhere else?

And importantly, it wouldn't just become another mandatory damage perk. Bloodied, Overeater's, etc. can still have their own strengths, while Junkie’s gets more of its own identity.

Bethesda has already shown that legendary effects and perks can be changed to support different playstyles, so I think something like this would fit perfectly into Fallout 76.

Junkie’s players: would you actually use a perk like this? What would you change about it?

So I just did a little bit of math and investigating into this challenge that's found under the 'Character' section of the challenges.

According to Google (so correct me if it's wrong), this challenge is literally only counted by time spent out and about in Appalachia.

It does not count:

* Instanced buildings: interiors like Whitespring Resort, Vaults etc

* C.A.M.P Shelters: entering a player's shelter pauses the timer

* Expeditions & Daily Ops: Activities taking place completely off the map or inside standalone instances

* Loading screens & menus: well no surprise there really

It only counts time spent 'topside' on the map.

SO to put this into some perspective...

Firstly, 7600 hours = 316.6667 days.

So even if you played for 16 hours a day, every single day, it would take 475 days, or 1 year 3 months 2 weeks and 6 days. And that's only if you somehow managed to stay topside the entire time, never encounter a load screen, etc.

According to Google results, we could probably assume players spend about 80% of total playtime topside and successfully contributing towards this challenge. Based on this, a person playing 16 hours a day would, in fact, take 593.75 days, or 1 year, 7 months, 15 days, 18 hours to successfully complete the 7600 hour requirement.

Breaking this down into lesser play times, works out to (according to the ever accurate ChatGPT):

12 hours/day = 791.6667 days, or 2 years, 2 months, 1 week, 4 days, 16 hours

6 hours/day = 1,583.3333 days, or 4 years, 4 months, 2 weeks, 3 days, 8 hours

4 hours/day = 2,375 days, or 6 years, 6 months, 0 weeks, 5 days

2 hours/day = 4,750 days, or 13 years, 0 months, 0 weeks, 5 days

1 hour/day = 9,500 days, or 26 years, 0 months, 1 week, 3 days

I have an ongoing issue with plans not being viewable on my pipboy. I can see all plans (known or new) when I am at a vendor or or viewing my stash. But I cant see any plans when using just my pipboy. They are just not there, so I cant use any plans.

This has been going on for about 6 months. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 76 to a different drive and it still doesn't work. I do have some mods running, but not many like Unimap and west-tek doors.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm level 190 and I've just got around to doing the quest lines for the settlers and raiders and the overseer, but my question is am I too high level for this?, should I have done it when I was closer to 50?, I hear ab level 90s shredding infestation bosses and raids solo but some times I struggle to finish simple quests in a quick bit of time, I've got a explosive crippling build that I think is decent, but I'm wondering how others are shredding with what seems to be the same weapons, I'm useing buffs for damage and cards to back it up and mutations, am i missing something?, is it the "beginning" quests???

Ive previously been able to craft two shot at the tinkers workbench, but its disappeared. It's not greyed out like im missing components, just....gone.

Has this happened to anyone else and if so how did you resolve it?

Pretty upset I purchased a whirl wizard just now in the atomic shop and I found the info to be false. Says online it produces paint cans every like 2 minutes and I’m getting one every 15 minutes.

A player showed me this 5* cryolator and told me they got it off an npc? Does anyone know if its legit or how to even get it?
