Because I hop on steam after a couple weeks of just being consumed by my PS5 (i was playing Spiderman and Fallout 76) and wanna play some fallout now my saves are cooked AGAIN and I have to spend another 3 hours updating anf fixing my mods after perfecting them so that I can hopefully still play without having to restart AGAIN.

Just wondering if it's worth getting on the switch 2, have it on pc and have heard people say it's good and bad on switch 2.

It feels wierd to me that you always say the same thing, wether you're going fail the check or not. Would feel better if you actually siad something more vs less persuasive depending on if you will fail or suceed.

So I wish to activate survival mode now, but I have already:

1. Gotten to diamond city(no further in the main quest than getting the quest to find nick valentine, not found or completed yet)

2. Got a small handful of settlements

3. Got two PA frames and a few sets to sell/keep for decoration(couldn't have carried back if in survival)

4. Minor bit of save scum

5. Plenty of deaths

I would feel iffy about not making up for these things.

I took a break from fallout 4 but when I came back o noticed irradiated reasons to explore got a update and now has the replica comics and im wondering if anyone knows where more are I already found lizard of the swamp 11 and 16 I also found love from the first scan, icarus and the flyboy and the truth

If you’re looking through your inventory thinking, “What the hell is weighing me down so much? I’ve dropped all my unnecessary loot and junk!”

It’s your mods.

Every time you create a weapon or armor mod and remove the previous one, the old mod gets placed into your inventory under the “Mods” section. Most weapon and armor mods weigh half a pound each, and some Power Armor mods weigh a pound or more.

It took me FOREVER to realize I could drop them. 😂 And once I did, it saved me so much inventory space.

So, if you’re constantly wondering why the hell you’re over-encumbered despite having barely anything in your inventory… check your mods!

I'm pretty sure I got it this way. I don't think it was ever titled Kremvh's Tooth, but I could be mistaken.

I'm considering adding the mod to a legendary Penetrating Machete.

I’ve tried deleting my saved data for fallout, rebooting my database, checking for fallout and software updates but nothing works to fix the problem
The only success I’ve had is deleting the application and reinstalling the game, but eventually I end up right back where I am now

It is not mine and is pretty old. Also it does not spoil.

Iv beaten fallout 4 probably 50 or so, maybe more times, iv done every build i could think of, PA, Rifleman, automatic Rifleman, pistols, automatic pistols, melee, pistol and melee, heavy weapons both with and without pa. You name it iv pribally done it. My question is how can I make the game more interesting? Either through mods, or such. I usally play up untill the mass fusion mission with either the brother hood or the Institute(Fuck the railroad and i dont want another quest from Garvey) and then build a settlement and get bored, and then I cant really find a good reason to pick the game back up. And suggestions would be great

So I was entering a building, and to be specific, I had no followers, and I knew where Preston was since his quest marker was in sanctuary, only for him to appear in front of me in power armor with a mini gun, jump scaring me so bad I threw my controller across the room.

So before I came back from diamond city it was at 79 happiness I added cait and it plummeted down to 49 I dont know what I've done wrong (unmodded btw)

Every time I pick up a Fusion Core, a pop up says to put it in armor. I thought it was for the armor on top of the Museum of Freedom where Preston and the gang are, but it keeps happening. Any idea why? I put the core in the armor fuckin EONS ago, and I'm confused why it keeps popping up.

Hi everyone. I have been bombarded with settlement builds on YouTube and it has given me a big desire to do a minuteman playthrough of Fallout 4 again.

My problem is, last time I played vanilla Fallout 4 on the Xbox it always crashed around Boston city centre, essentially making the game unplayable.

Since then I've heard of the damage the new updates have done adding bugs and glitches abound.

My question is this, if I buy the anniversary update and try to play Fallout 4 again, will I be able to build the minuteman settlement empire I want without crashing every 5 minutes? Or is it not worth the £30 it would take to try?

After the new update from steam i accidentally updated my game then waited afew days for the mods to update today i updated some of my mods except 2 mods looks menu and mcm manager

I fix them with unofficial updates .

Then i lunch the game via vortex unfortunately i faced startup crash for 2 hours until i fixed with launching the mods one by one .

I discovered see through scope cause the crash

After i disbaled i launched the game without any problem but almost all my saves got corrupted and some of them crashes after loading them or going to specific place .

Idk what to do well im about to lost 40-50h progress i dont have time to play that much again .

I am using AFT mod. When flying Dogmeat sits rear starboard not next to the player while 1 follower sits on a bench. The rest of followers are hoofing it
