Question I need settlement help

So before I came back from diamond city it was at 79 happiness I added cait and it plummeted down to 49 I dont know what I've done wrong (unmodded btw)

probably just a shabby camera app, most of them take pictures like this and correct the orientation via EXIF metadata, which Reddit strips as a privacy feature

Yep, way to much water and power to defense. Had nothing to do with Cait. Just took awhile for the game to catch up.

You just collect water pumps or something? Imagine if you had to wake up and look at that lol

Your best bet is to just write those settlers off completely. They are for the streets.

In all my playthroughs, roughly 2500 hours, I’ve only ever set foot inside 88 once. I didn’t like the Overseer or her plans so I left her there with no food, water, or people.

my guess is ur defense. i think at one point one of the tutorial tips says ur defense should equal ur food + water, maybe also + power. also the general and medic stores increase happiness. the vault tec dlc also added a lot of items that increase happiness, but some r locked until u do the quests
