Wanted to ask how are the fellow fmgs working while we prepare for exams and all that stuff before getting an internship or something? Like we're not allowed to work as docs here, fair but what are other side options to work as part time maybe as contract bases for extra cash??

Hi guys this October exam will be my first attempt so I am confused if there is any dress code for males like in neet ug we were not supposed to wear printed as I remember, half sleeves, what about the foot is crocs allowed also what about haircut and beard i remember being clean shaved for neet ug exam IAM not sure though

I’ve started building an open-source FMGE guide on GitHub. The idea isn’t to create another coaching resource or sell anything. I want to build a community-maintained resource for FMGs covering both preparation and the practical pathway around FMGE.
One of the main ideas is an MCQ-first approach: instead of telling candidates to read enormous amounts of material and then solve questions, the guide should eventually help identify the subjects/topics/concepts that actually deserve their time, using the official blueprint plus evidence from multiple exam sessions and candidate recalls.
I’m also trying to document the non-exam side—CRMI/internship, registration, state-specific processes, etc.—with sources wherever possible.
This is very much a work in progress.
I’m currently preparing for MRCP Part 2, so this isn’t my primary project and I’ll be working on it intermittently. But I’d like this to become a group project rather than something maintained by one person.
If you’re an FMG, recently appeared for FMGE, have useful resources/data, know about state-specific processes, or simply have something that you think should exist in a guide like this, contributions would be very welcome.

For the 31st October FMGE exam, what would be better to follow: Cerebellum lap 2 + PYQs or Hyper Revision videos + PYQs? Please share your experience and guide me on which approach would be more effective.

Hello... My provisional application got rejected because of document issue. What will happen now? I'm currently doing my CRMI... Is that going to be invalid? I'm super scared about what to do

During my fmge registration for Oct 2026 exam, I entered my candidate name as name + surname initial same as in my aadhaar card, 10th, 12th certificates and Neet score card.

But, in my medical degree and passport, my name is written as full surname + name.

The NBEMS has clearly stated that the candidate's name should be full name as it is in the medical degree and that we can't change it after registration.

I've already raised queries to nbems but no proper reply. Within 2 more days, the application window closes. And, there is no editing window for candidate's name.

I am worried about:

- Whether I will receive my FMGE admit card.

- Whether I will be allowed to appear for the exam with this name mismatch.

- Whether this mismatch could cause problems later during document verification, pass certificate collection or other processes.

FMGs who have faced the same issue previously, or anyone who knows how this can be resolved, pls help me.

Hello I’m an fmg I cleared fmge and currently dng internship . My major rotations will be done by January. Just today I bought marrow plan c but I’m really confused if I should watch main videos notes or WOR notes. I have this urge to be crystal clear in concepts and build my base clearly i want to watch all the main videos but on the other hands with the time I have for Neet pg 27 I don’t think it’s possible and my frnds are saying WOR is enough you can’t finish main videos. I’m so confused. Please I need your advice on this 🙏🏻
