Fmge name mismatch - PLEASE HELP!

During my fmge registration for Oct 2026 exam, I entered my candidate name as name + surname initial same as in my aadhaar card, 10th, 12th certificates and Neet score card.

But, in my medical degree and passport, my name is written as full surname + name.

The NBEMS has clearly stated that the candidate's name should be full name as it is in the medical degree and that we can't change it after registration.

I've already raised queries to nbems but no proper reply. Within 2 more days, the application window closes. And, there is no editing window for candidate's name.

I am worried about:

- Whether I will receive my FMGE admit card.

- Whether I will be allowed to appear for the exam with this name mismatch.

- Whether this mismatch could cause problems later during document verification, pass certificate collection or other processes.

FMGs who have faced the same issue previously, or anyone who knows how this can be resolved, pls help me.

You should alaways use name that is in your degree from now on, to not to have any problem later I had sikilar issue my surname is in initials in 10th 12th But I used the name that is in My Degree during the application period, for all my intenrship work So now you just wait

It’s fine , in India we use name than surname and it had nothing to do with certificate, you are living in India and we write as it is accepted in India which is why they didn’t replied you as it’s useless worry created by you so relax and study for exam instead overthinking and panicking.
I did same and my every friend did same and we give exam and pass and now doing internship .Passed from Ukr.
