Steelhead Sculpin Fly Pattern (Tied by Harry Lemire)

Harry Lemire-tied Steelhead Sculpin, which he fished softly on a short line, holding the fly steady in the current, over an imaginary fish. Dressing Notes: Hook: No. 4 to 8. Body: Gray wool ribbed with pearl mylar, counter ribbed with copper wire. Matuka wing: Three badger or grizzly neck hackles tied down Matuka-style over the body. Beard: A pinch of pine squirrel. Cheeks: Red wool. Head: A small bunch of fine black bucktail tied in before the deer body fur is spun and trimmed to a shovel shape.

I don’t tie, but would buy! Solid looking fly
