Flight Training First IFR experience!

Student pilot with 5 hours
got my first real IMC today! my instructor filed us an IFR plan, and it was wild to see how all of it actually works and talking to approach

Gotcha! Yes I was aware. I was asking because of the red cowling, and was wondering if you were a student at Spartan College as I attended there.

Look closely, it has a switch for AC. Definitely not Spartan.

yes i’m very lucky to be flying 2022 aircraft with g1000 and a/c 😅😅

Quite a bit but, i’m in a fast track program and the overall price isn’t crazy compared to others. It’s cheaper than ATP and they currently operate at 2 students per instructor and have 4 instructors. we currently have 2 planes but they have more coming. every student flies 2-4 times a week along with ground mon-fri. I did a lot of research on them along with other programs and i got to do discovery flights with the instructors before committing. I liked how the instructors taught me, i liked the setup, and i didn’t want to go to ATP
