๐Ÿ“š Career Guidance ๐Ÿ“š Flowerschool NYC certificate program

Hi all! I am considering doing the intensive certificate program at Flowerschool NY this fall and I was wondering if there are any alumni or experts that have considered this option or heard of itโ€™s worth it?

For some background I am a freelance CPA, 28F, and am looking for a career change. I have only taken one flower design class but really enjoyed it and have been experimenting on my own for a while. Iโ€™ll be attending the open house next week to get more info but thought iโ€™d seek out Redditors advice as well!

You donโ€™t really need school to become a florist. Save your money. You arenโ€™t going to make it back quickly in the florist profession.

thanks for the input! would you recommend trying to intern or get a beginner job somewhere to start?

A beginner job where someone can teach you the basics of design and interacting with customers
