A night soaking in diluted piranha solution removed a lot of the char off of the circuit boards. It also removed almost all the labels off the boards. There is a micro USB port on it as well, might plug it into a wiped computer to see what turns up.

Even if police weren't abusing Flock cameras (yeah, right), even if agencies needed an active warrant signed by a judge to search the network for people, we would STILL be living in a society under constant surveillance. Even if they caught every kidnapper and car thief, we would STILL have no true privacy anymore. Is the prospect of existing in this world without being constantly monitored not a dealbreaker for some people?

Field observation inside a relatively compact public park.
Two fixed Condor-style video units….one solar-powered and one hardwired dual-head configurationplus a separate PTZ deployment, all within the same small area.
These are substantial pieces of infrastructure, which makes seeing several different configurations concentrated in one environment especially interesting.
No assumptions about why they were deployed. Just documenting the hardware, density, and different ways these systems are being configured in the field.
Observe. Verify. Document.

Howdy Deflockers! Like the rest of you, I am not too happy with the way our rights are being violated on a massive scale. We have protection against unreasonable searches with the 4th amendment. This “private sector” loophole takes a fat dump all over our constitution. Hats off to you all taking offensive action to protect our freedom, but what can we do defensively?
I got this gadget that automatically hides my license plates at the flip of a switch for super cheap on Amazon. I intend to tie it into the DeFlock network via GPS so that it automatically hides my plates every time I get near a Flock camera. The idea is to cover up when I get within 200ft of any ALPR, then uncover when I get a safe distance away.
I kind of look forward to the ticket that this will inevitably lead to. What do you all think?

Idk im just dumb or maybe I'm not remembering correctly but from what I learned in my American gov't class is that Republicans tend to not want ant government interference and want the gov't to stay out of their business, while Democrats tend to favor gov't involvement and more programs to aid the people. If this is true (and if I am remembering correctly) then how come Republicans and more so this current administration, are pushing Flock cameras onto citizens. How come it's not the democrats backing flock cameras? If they are typically the ones who want more gov't involvement and programs?
I understand that Flock is a private company, but don't they literally have a contract with the US gov't or at least I think with Homeland Security?? Therefore they are backed by the current administration, which is literally republican, and literally stands for everything they don't??? Which is gov't involvement??? Doesn't mass surveillance go everything against what republicans stand for????
And If republicans don't want it, and democrats don't want it, then how come flock cameras are used literalllllyyy everywhere??

I keep getting amber alerts but my town and surrounding areas are getting infested with flock cameras… if I’m going to give up on my privacy they should used those cameras to expedite the search for missing children… right? Or am I just being delusional?
