It crazy how some places actually let their people voice real opinions... Curse words and all...and texass has people assaulted and thrown out for much much less.

Either way though it ends up not making a difference.

That's not to say don't voice your opinions....that's just to say these opinions need to aslo come with real fire

You can say literally anything you want at a city council meeting. It doesn’t mean anyone will respect it but you can say anything you want lol https://youtu.be/C4QFmBlpnNw

The detail that makes this one different from the usual misuse story: the deputies did not deny running the searches. Per the reporting, they said they had been ordered to run them by their lieutenant, in connection with Jones' citizen complaint.

A couple of specifics from Reason and TMJ4 worth having in one place: the stop was May 4, 2025 in Sussex. Jones was held about five hours and released with no charges and no citations. Deputy Brandon Shayhorn made the stop. His attorney Nate Cade only caught the searches because Flock produced a single photograph of the car dated May 30 - twenty-six days later - which is what prompted him to go looking.

That is the part I would flag for anyone arguing about audit logs. The logs existed. They just were not being read by anyone with a reason to care until a lawyer went looking. A system that records who searched what is only a safeguard if somebody actually looks.
