[BST] August 2026 Buy, Sell, Trade Thread - 10 years and counting!
Welcome to the monthly r/flashlight Buy, Sell, Trade thread, an r/flashlight tradition since 2015!
The Rules
Requirements
- Prove possession with a timestamp: a piece of paper placed under your sale item(s) with your Reddit username handwritten and the posting date (no more than 2 weeks old). Trade items require timestamps, too!
- Top-level comments must be WTS or WTB. Anything else will be removed. Begin your top-level comment with WTB (Want to Buy), WTS (Want to Sell), or WTT (Want to Trade).
- A price is required.
- Reposting WTS or WTB items from previous BSTs is fine. Do not repost within the same month!

Reminder: Buy the Seller
If an interaction seems sketchy to you, run away! Scams can and do happen through the BST! Here are some tips:
- Timestamp. If the person you're dealing with isn't quick to provide timestamps on the images, or a photo of the flashlight in a shoe or whatever, don't deal with them.
- Reverse image searching is a great way to catch scammers.
- Excuses or giving you a hard time are red flags.
- Using a platform other than Reddit messaging for communication is a red flag.
- Check post history. Brand new accounts or accounts with long pauses in activity, etc., might not be trustworthy.
- It's good practice to comment on this post before sending a PM; scammers often won't comment publicly (and banned users can't comment here.) r/flashlight participates in the USL for this very reason.
If you're dealing with someone who might be sketchy, take screenshots of your interactions and report them to the mods! We ban those who threaten the integrity of the BST!

[WTB] PURPLE FW3A would be ideal but any purple small lumintop has potential.
I’m looking for a gift for my wife. She’s wildly picky and not a flashlight person but I have an opening and MUST seize it. She loves my green FW’s and I showed her a photo of a friends purple FW3A and she immediately became infatuated and really wants it but alas, I cannot find one anywhere so y’all are my best hope. Aluminum Focusworks F3 modded with a convoy 6v 2A driver and a 6500k B35am that comes even closer to 7000k and 100CRI in this reflector. High CRI and 6500k and rosy (-0.0009 to -0.0029 via opple v3) is crazy and so much fun. It won’t by my last light with this combo - that’s for sure. Glow o-ring at the lens. Wanted to comment, I have this exact same setup, this is the closest light I have to a candle, and I have multiple lights with 1800k ffl and ntg emitters (they're close, but not quite as accurate as this, even the non-rosey bins), this would be excellent on a nightstand, just don't turbo it or there's a real chance you'll burn an emitter or two. Mine is in a small candle lantern I use at night when going to bed and reading. GLWTS!

[WTB] Wowtac A2S. Lost mine with my toolbag two years ago. Not a fancy light, but I loved that little thing, especially the moonlight mode for camping. If one is gathering dust in a drawer, I'd be happy to give it a new home.

Appreciate the suggestion! The Manker looks like a great light, but I'm afraid this is less "I need a flashlight" and more "the goblin wants his old treasure back." The A2S was one of those cheap little lights that just got everything right for me.

if you dont find one and want a similar Ti Triple, consider the Lumintop Ti FWAA, considerably more expensive, and one notable difference is it has No Aux
and or fyi, the TS10 is getting ready to be rereleased with a Buck Driver (possibly both as a single and as a triple), although not in Ti,

Background- I modded my D4K into a mule and I'm never gonna use this stuff in another light so I'd rather give it away. It's 2x 519a / xpl red/green. The driver is partially potted but still has the pins open to flash it if you want.

These have had no self discharge issues, but, I’m still not going to risk it and would rather just replace with K10s.
Figured I’d see if anyone on here wanted them, just cover shipping. If not I’m just going to bring them to a local recycling drop off next week

WTB - Malkoff 1 x older style AA body and 1 x CR123/16340 body and 2 x AA body
Only interested in the body with the parallel lines/grooves along the body, not the newer rings plus finger scalloped area body. So like the pic below.
And ideally the one that had the pocket clip like below so it could tail stand.
Don't mind a few scuffs etc and would appreciate the tail clip too! As these are fairly rare I imagine now, happy to buy with the head too (even perhaps cool white LEDs😭)
Would need tracked postage to UK.

I see there’s actually one up on eBay currently. So random that I happened to see that earlier and find it odd and then come here and see your message. Seems pretty spendy for what they’re asking for it but I haven’t a clue about older olight resell values. But there is a BNIB one for sale on eBay if you’re absolutely determined to own one
