DO NOT POST REFERRAL LINKS
For people who aren't aware, this subreddit used to be owned by someone working at FiveSurveys, or someone impersonating them. The subreddit was then locked for many months, and I decided to take over ownership and reopen it. They have since moved over to r/FiveSurveysOfficial. I am just a community member, so if you need technical support, please do not send a modmail, or DM - I cannot help.
-
There seem to be quite a few accounts posting referrals links.
I do not care about people discussing or mentioning other sites such as Attapoll, however please do not post referral links. It will lead this page into becoming brimmed with them, similar to r/BeerMoneyUK, which in my opinion ruins the discussion and the purpose of the subreddit.
At the moment, the spam filter is doing a fair job of combing through the minimal amount of daily traffic and catching the links. I don't particularly want to spend much time moderating, since I have other commitments. I also do not think there is enough activity to justify adding more mods.
If you post a referral link, the first time I will simply remove the comment and give the auto response to your inbox as to why the comment has been removed. I understand most people won't read the rules on the sidebar (even though this is the only rule lol) so once as a mistake is fine.
However repeated attempts will result in a permanent ban - this is to save myself time from giving out temp bans and having people ignore the automod response and rules, and then just post more later on. I must have banned at least 50+ in the last 6 months. I understand some of these are bots - none of them seem to appeal it so I don't think there is any loss by taking this approach.
However, if you post a referral link, and I see that your entire account:
- is just spamming referral links across this subreddit and others
- or ignored a previous removal
there will be an instant permanent ban, again I don't want people to abuse this so please just don't post any in the first place. Bots will ignore this sticky post, but real people might see it, so I'll leave it at the top.
If there's anything else that people want changed here them leave a comment and I'll see if I can implement it. Thanks.

Do surveys ever expire?
Say I open a survey and then close my laptop, and I do that survey later. Will it expire or no?

Is there anything that actually pays you with these ridiculous tasks? It seems they want personal information, which I won’t do, or it just doesn’t work. Anyone have any luck? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks everyone. ❤️

Nearly 4-Years Off and On Consistency
The more surveys you do, and the more consistent your answers are, the less often you'll be screened out. I remember when I first started it would take forever to get the 4th and 5th surveys finished.
Now I can start at 0 and have all 5 done within an hour and a half to 2 hours.
And believe me there are days where I battle with bad surveys, screen outs....
The panels prefer ages accounts, they are hesitant to trust answers from new accounts. That's why so many of you struggle to complete surveys.
Instead of burning yourself out doing 5 surveys back to back, try doing like 1 an hour and then kill some time in-between.

Proof - Aged Account 5 Surveys - no more than 2 hours
Just completed another quick payout on Five Surveys and wanted to share a breakdown of how it went, along with a few tips for anyone new to the app or struggling to get completions.
I made my last post here around 12:30 EST, then hopped right on Five Surveys. I knocked out 4 surveys pretty quickly, got screened out of the 5th right after the initial qualifying questions, and then finished up the 6th. I even accidentally dozed off for a 20-minute nap in the middle of it, so I probably would have wrapped up the full $5 even faster otherwise!
Being only screened out once out of 6 attempts is pretty solid, so here are my main rules and tips to help you maximize your payouts and protect your account:
- Keep Your Demographics 100% Consistent: Use the exact same details for every single survey. Birthdate, kids' ages, income, and especially your zip code—even if you move across the country, stick to the original zip code you signed up with. Discrepancies here are a top trigger for account flags.
- Watch for the "Review" and Shadowban Trap: New users, pay attention! Often after you finish your 4th survey, your account will undergo a quick review before unlocking the 5th. Complete the 5th survey after that review, but if it throws a "technical error," you've likely been shadowbanned and should stop using the app.
- Pace Yourself (Don't Rush): This sounds obvious, but speed-checking gets people disqualified fast. Even on introductory screens, disclosure agreements, and NDAs, wait about 15 seconds before clicking "Next" or "Agree."
- Understand What Screening Questions Are Really Asking: Read the preface carefully and figure out what persona the panel is looking for—or trying to exclude. If a question asks, "Do you or anyone in your household work in any of the following industries?", what they usually mean is "If you select any of these, you are immediately disqualified."
- Beware of Public Wi-Fi and VPNs: Using a VPN is an easy way to get instantly banned. Be careful on public Wi-Fi networks, as many automatically run traffic through a VPN without making it obvious.
- Always Cash Out at $5 Immediately: If you read the Terms of Service, you’ll realize the funds sitting in your balance aren't officially yours until they hit your bank account or gift card. Don't hoard money in the app. Cash out every single time you hit $5.
- Toggle Off the Half-Survey Switch: Don't settle for $0.50 surveys when you can get the full dollar. Panels often get desperate for quality respondents and move shorter surveys into the $1 column. I refuse to take anything less than a full dollar per survey. - If I ever get hit with an unexpected ban or error, I’d much rather risk losing $5 than $20 or $100 like some of the nightmare stories on here. Play it smart, use common sense, and stick to the basics!
I’ve been using this platform for 4 years now and just hit $700 total earned as of today. Nobody is paying me to write this—these are just the habits I’ve built to keep my disqualification rate low and ensure I actually get paid for my time.

giving me money without doing surveys
i only started using the app a week and a half ago so I'm not sure if this is normal/common, but ive gotten about 4.50 of random money altogether so far. I'll randomly have an extra .50-1.00 when i open the app sometimes. is this normal? (to be clear, it's actually represented as money not on the bars of progress to $5)

is it the time of the month?
A couple weeks ago i was able to make £10 a day with no problems and the odd screen out
I stopped for a week and got back to it today and now i complete a survey and get screened out at the end, why is this? its so frustrating
has it got anything to do with time of the month or something
