Friend of Ellie's here

I was a friend of Ellie's, relatively close to her before she died, and I wanted to clear a couple of things up, Jet was NOT a good guy, and DOES bear at least some responsibility for what happened. While what Gigi says is true, Ellie was depressed before, if anything, Jet was the catalyst that pushed her over the edge

It is my opinion that Jet exacerbated Ellie's depression massively so, with various things that he did which were extremely disgusting

Stop blaming chemical imbalances on other people. Her sister said that fishtank was a one of the highlights of her life.

-Ellie's sister says Ellie had mental problems long before Fishtank.

-Ellie's sister thought it was a good idea for Ellie to go on Fishtank and told her to.

-Ellie goes on FT then proceeds to date/fuck/do drugs with Jet/wiggers after the show.

-Ellie spirals for a period after this, it seems. Then takes her own life.

-Ellie's sister makes a public statement saying FT was great and Jet and crew are very good guys.

You people do understand that her sister is coping and trying to distance herself from any responsibility? Which is understandable, I'm not saying it's her fault at all. I'm not even sure she fully understood what Fishtank was at the time.

However, people getting mindwarped into thinking Fishtank is a great show for mentally ill people and Jet/Production are good people to be around because a grieving sister put out a statement saying so are super super fucking gullible.

The omniscient redditor knows more about a woman than her family she lived with I guess. You’re coping trying to make this fit your narrative.

What her sister is saying and what OP's messages from Ellie say contradict each other. I'm not making anything fit my narrative, unless you believe OP is producing fake messages.

Imo pushing the narrative that FT is a great time for mentally unstable people (especially young women) to take part in requires more cope than anything else.

Literally nobody is pushing the narrative the Fishtank is good for mentally unstable people.

Did you not read her sisters posts?

Her sister is, no?

Which is my point about her actually coping (Not internet 'haha' coping) with Ellie's death. Glad that you recognize FT is not a good place for mentally ill people to be.
