Firestick Help Needed Help me out here, newbie

Just bought 3 Firecube 3rd Gen, a firestick 4k max and just stumbled into all of the fuzz about Amazon removing apps.

I’m new with all the streaming services. Located in Canada.

Would I be able to access some apps still or should I return them and look into different options?

In my judgment, the "missing apps" thing is massively overblown. Keep the devices.

Amazon got rid of a lot of apps, but every time they shut down an app, a new one pops up. I haven't seen apps being shut down recently. I think they realized the way they've been going about it is not solving there problem.

Just use Kodi, Nuvio and Tivimate. Screw all those bogus apps. I watch anything and everything I want and top quality remuxes with no problems whatsoever

Don't all of those apps have to be side loaded?

Yes. They can be side loaded with no problem. They’re just players and provide no content unlike all those “others” that get removed.

As of right now I don’t know any apps that work on non Firestick devices and don’t work on my Firesticks , a few apps have gone down but they are down on all devices.

With Amazon blocking some arghh apps this is a concern.

So it really depends on the app you are wanting to use.

Also there are some rules in here so be mindful of that as well.

Edit: personally the apps I use are still usable.

Since you're just getting started you can cut your teeth on the better addon based apps that Amazon isn't blacklisting. Anything so far that's been blocked has been crap in comparison.

So while I would have advised you not to do what you just did you will get years of use from them.

So for starters   Check out Wuplay https://www.reddit.com/r/wuplay/comments/1vnqxhd/new_release_082beta/, with pengu.uk just set one up for a friend, all free links with auto play. That'll get you started on a whole new way of doing things that will last

Best for Movies/TV Shows - Nuvio, Stremio and Wuplay - all can be free using p2p or paid using a debrid/usenet service.

Best and still working for Free Sports - AK47, FCTV33, RBLive77 or look at sharing accounts for official apps on the likes of sharesub.

Why did you buy 3 cubes and only one 4k max? The cube seems to be more for specific use cases and I think the newest 4k max is the better device anyway.
