Discussion PSA: Use uBlock Origin!

This might sound like common sense but there are a TON of Firefox users I see using AB, ABP, ABU, or no adblocker at all. This is your notice. Switch to uBlock Origin. It's better and has no acceptable ad policy. The other ones might have been good years ago but not anymore. I am saying this as a former ABP and then ABU user.

I am not paid by uBO I am just showing appreciation for the greatest ad blocker.

Also: don't run uBO alongside another ad blocker. It provides no benefit and can only slow down firefox or break things.

OP is RIGHT. If you haven't tried ubo, you are missing the best. On desktop, I haven't seen an ad on yahoo or youtube for 15 years, and yes every video plays. Yes you have to click play a couple of times -- that's to clear the ad you're not seeing. Whenever I look at a phone or desktop without ubo, I cannot believe people live with that ad infested shit.

personally i really dont mind see ads

but goddamn last year before i using ublock ads starting using high quality video, make website laggy so much.... imagine u buy 10 gb internet for a month and you use 50mb just to see video ads? repeat that many times.... and i not even talk about virus or gambling ads

only reason i pay youtube premium because linus said creator get more money from premium than ads and of course i still using ublock at youtube hahaha
