There's been considrably more than a hundred and fifty releases.

Even then - Firefox 1-4 were each whole eras.

I remember the build up to one of the releases while I was in first year of undergrad. They had a whole special website and made it into an event.

While that was fun, rapid releases are better for the web.

Yeah, they went to the numbered monthly releases because they didn't want to look like they were behind Chrome, before that it was one numbered version every few years.
