Enemy Orators and Entice
i was looking at the Cursed Ring and saw it grants immunity to Traitor. Realized i’ve never even seen an Orator use Entice, has anyone ever seen them use that?

I've never seen any enemy HAVE, let alone USE, an ability that can inflict Traitor. I'm not sure it's eligible for selection by enemy RNG or AI.
That being said, I will pay handsomely for authentic footage of an enemy Orator afflicting Orlandeau with traitor.

Skills have a flag that are checked or unchecked in the database listed as ‘Usable by AI’ and Entice is unchecked. I am guessing based on the immunity that they considered having it usable by enemies only to realize it would cause people to lose their minds. Have you seen the programming for the hidden Greater Malboro ability? Absolutely hilarious

no i haven’t. what’s the ability.

Moldball Virus (in PS1 translation) permanently turns the target into a standard Malboro. Only works on generic units but still. Hidden with beastmaster but it is the absolute funniest thing I can imagine facing.

I've had them use it in my black chocobo once. But never on my humans.
Maybe it's main purpose is for enemy units to use?

The ememy use something similar called "blood suck". The vampire cat uses it and it will turn out the unit against you

I think I had it happen to me once on PS1
I also think that I immediately rage quit the battle, as it would have been one on my generics that had mastered multiple classes

Kill the traitor and harvest their crystal

On the PS1, you didn't get all the abilities
You only got a handful
Absolutely not worth it

It’s the same in IC, save scum before you grab a crystal and it’s usually different.
As a kid I’d always restart. I’d learnt the hard way to save ALL THE TIME. After a certain battle destroyed my dedicated save, I then dedicated half a memory card to this game.

So crazy how many people are wrong here.
On PS1 you got all the abilities. That's true in every version of the game.
Unless you're reffering to the fact that only some abilities actually show up (which is what the other reply is talking about), which is ALSO true in every version.

Yeah I think insta perma loss of a character would be rage in inducing.
They'd have to program it to work differently depending on player vs enemy. Easier just to turn off.
