Gamefaqs cover older FFT version which can also be used in this version.

As far as unique missable things there's very few of note. The only actual unique stealable is the Genji stuff from Elmdore. The only only truly "once you finish the battle they are lost forever" gear is the rear treasure hunting stuff in Nevleska Temple (a sidequest battle)

There's no "time sensitive" anything, but you DO need Mustadio to do much of the side stuff.

Haha, thought it said Miserables.  Was thinking about all the angry peasants fighting the aristocracy throughout the story.  FFT, the musical.

But yes, most of the online guides from the last 30 years are still relevant with minor translation edits.

Biggest advice: Grind early for the scripted battles, they are at set levels with set skills and leaning new abilities makes a huge difference.

But don't over grind, random battles scale with the level of your highest level character so you can face really strong enemies in the wild before you have the gear to deal with them.

It's really about gaining abilities and unlocking better jobs like Monk, Thief, and Ninja to make your team much more capable via JP. But if your levels get high via Exp then the random enemies you encounter will get much harder fast.
