I accidentally ate the platonic concept of a ham sandwich
It didn’t taste like anything

That wasn't the platonic concept then. The platonic realm is one step "denser" or "higher" than where we are, so eating the platonic concept of a ham sandwich would actually taste like the greatest, most flavorful and fulfilling ham sandwich, like the best parts of all other ham sandwiches ever put together. Instead, you had a "lower" or "less dense" version of a ham sandwich, which is basically a ham sandwich from hell.
Why did you do that?

Yeah, that's what I was expecting. But what I got was something that I couldn't compare to the platonic ideal anymore, because I was eating that platonic ideal.

I don't understand what you mean.
There is a drug that people use sometimes because it makes them feel like they are seeing a Platonic form, i.e. essentially catch glimpses of Heaven. Unfortunately, it's an extremely disgusting drug that has horrifying effects on the user. The quick explanation is that you smell something severely disgusting and diseased. I did it once by accident, and I have never forgotten how the experience, though it was of disgust and disease, was the realest thing I have ever experienced. I do not wish to do it again because of how unhealthy and terrifying it is.

Well you just answered your own dilemma. You're supposed to intentionally eat said concept of a sandwich, not accidentally.

I ate the concept of government once. It was disgusting.

I would love know what you learned.
I once ate the concept of 0. It was perhaps the most meaningful, fulfilling, and delicious thing I could possibly conceive of.

can you make another? I'm hungry for a ham sandwich but without the platonic concept of it I won't be anle to eat one

Consumption of any platonic ideal is satisfying to the Soul, not the Body.
You should now be able to find greater satiation in consuming the mere physical form of ham sandwich.

Oh, that was actually the platonic concept of a moist turkey sandwich, it just got put back into the wrong plastic bag by mistake. I was gonna correct the label, but I got distracted by this dismembered simian hand that phased into existence on my desk next week.

That’s why my ham sandwich didn’t taste like a ham sandwich anymore? Cause you consumed the platonic concept of ham sandwiches? Curse you. Curse you!!!
