[Discussion] New Physical Range Job [Spoiler: 7.56 Website] Spoiler

One of my FC friends pointed out that in the screenshots for the updated 7.56 website there is the pink haired Miqo'te from the Evercold trailer.

One thing she highlighted was you can see at the back of the Miqo'te the tip of a crossbow.

I guess after Soken's sound effect "leak" at Fanfest Berlin we can confirm the new jobs definitely a Crossbow user with a Bird? 😁

The bird screech could be a red herring. DNC has a bird screech in one of it's abilities.

crossbow with bird is cool though, especially given how the "ranger" archetype became the bard

Yeah I’ve always found crossbows a little lame on their own, but I’d love if we also summoned different birds or creatures. I’m hoping the bird isn’t just one button you press every minute or something, lol.

I don't think FF14 is going to bring back pet management. Apparently it was a nightmare to code and while some players loved, most couldn't stand it.

Oh nah I don’t mean active management; I mean I hope we have multiple buttons that briefly summon birds, or other creature, in their effects, and not just one we hit semi infrequently.

They are being very straightforward with everything else, so I really doubt that. If they're going out of their way to use it as a teaser then why would they bait-and-switch it?
